The award show will be aired tonight at 8pm on Life Ok channel

BollywoodLife got lucky to live witness the 21st Life Ok Screen Awards this year, speaking of which, we got to see all that goes behind giving us a 3 hours award show. So being there and done that, what do we know, what have we learnt? Well, we knew that not all that’s shot or performed goes air, but what we learnt even bigger is the disorder and unplanned stuff that goofs up to find a trash. Did you knowSidharth Malhotra has stage fear and misspells names? Well, the Screen Awards is scheduled to go air tonight and we bring to you some inside scenes that might get DELETED from tonight’s segment:
Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Patrakar’ moment
Okay we start with Sidharth. He’s one of the hosts this evening but being a first timer, the Student Of The Year actor posed so nervous that he actually misspelled Citylight actress Patralekha’s name as Patrakar. Can you imagine? Patralekha didn’t spare him and mentioned that goof up in her thanksgiving speech but caring Sid’s reputation, we assume this might get edited from tonight’s telecast.
Alia Bhatt repeats her ‘Genius Of The Year’
Screen introduced this new category of Like Ok Best Hero (Female) which crowned Alia Bhatt as the Hero of 2014. Quite a contradiction of Hero and Female going hand in hand. So Alia, who can’t decide who’s the President Of India went on stage to receive it and said, ” I don’t know what this award means but thank you.” Now this part might get edited to save her from being the butt of jokes, no?
Shah Rukh Khan seeks ‘Mamta’ from Tabu
Tabu and Shahid get awarded for Best Jodi of 2014. Their Haider romance did wonders despite their mother-son relationship in the film. So on their acceptance speech, both Shahid and Tabu smiled awkward acknowledging the title to which SRK commented, “Tabu meri bhi maa nahi hai. Kabhi hummein bhi mamta dene aao.” Knowing SRK’s wit, this moment was totally a LOL share but you never know, the show organizers might take off this bit.
Advertisement bombs the obituaries
Okay, now this was quite funny. Like I told you, the whole function looked disorganized until Shah Rukh Khan took charge as the host. So at the start of the event, we had the obituaries being played paying condolences to the actors/actresses who died in 2014. The announcement was been made but instead of the memorial video, they showed a toothpaste advertisement. Haha!
Hema Malini’s ‘Lifetime’ speech
Hema Malini gets awarded with the Lifetime Achievement award and she was pretty excited to receive it. Who wouldn’t be right? But her excitement made a lifetime speech for almost 10 minutes. She went on talking about her childhood to Bollywood to Tamil films to politics. So her speech might cut-short a little and instead stretch her ball dance with SRK on Dream Girl. Now the latter was totally awww-dorable!
