Angry Varun Dhawan slams media after being misquoted!

Yesterday buzz was doing the rounds that Varun Dhawan is expecting Badlapur to make it to the Rs 100 crore club. The interview had quoted him saying, “It will be a make or break year for me. I know we are underdogs but if Badlapur works then it will be entering to a Rs 100 crore club. I just want the audience to like the film.” However, while most of us have placed our bets to see if this Sriram Raghavan film makes it to the crore club, Varun rubbishes rumours of him bidding any such figure! Yes!
The Badlapur actor took to Twitter to clear his Rs 100 cr side and wrote, “There’s is an article doing the rounds where I have been misquoted I have not spoken about the 100 cr club and badlapur entering it.”

That’s not all. The ABCD 2 actor further assured that more than money, he only wants the audience to like it and appreciate it. Speaking of which, he added saying, “#badlapur is a film I have not done for money and for me the film will work only if the public appreciates what we have done cinematically.”
